All LIKO’s products were made by corrosive resistant stainless steel or other metal alloy treated with protective coatings. It may quickly deteriorate if surface is broken. To prolong the life and maintain the original beauty of the finish, it is important to avoid the use of paint-removing solvents, acids or other strong caustic cleaning solution.

All products in this catalog are liable to wear and tear by uses. Depending on the daily frequency of use and the area for which the product has been specified, eventually corrosion from atmospheric and construction dirt. This is not caused by the material itself, but appears at the surface of the product due to the rust discoloration from other materials deposit which requires scouring.

To prevent this corrosion you have to maintain the products regularly by maintain the hardware in good shape and condition for longer lasting, you have to clean it periodically with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning or abrasive products.

To keep your fittings in good condition we further advise you as follow:

● 　 Repair any defects on doors and windows immediately.
● 　 Take protective action such as installing door stopper to prevent hinges, closers and lever handles against damage.
